Fusible Glass Sheet

The manufacturer intends this sheet to be kilnformed. However, fusible glass may also be used for stained glass, mosaic and other cold working projects.
Wissmach 96

Wissmach 96 is made for glass fusing and kiln forming. Special care is taken to avoid devitrification and all Wissmach 96 glass is tested. Many colors are also available with luminescent coating.

The Paul Wissmach Glass Company was established in 1910. Many of the color batches used by Wissmach at the turn of the century are still used today, and new glasses are continually added.

Wissmach produces a variety of colors and textures. They are also known for their dazzling opalescents, cathedrals and streakies.

Bought this and some Crystal Opal in the hope that I could find an equivalent to the Bullseye Opaline which reacts with coral oranges. Noticed that this had the same orange glow when held to the light as the Crystal Opal (which was Firelight). Fused both on top of tangerine striker and rust transparent and it behaved the same turning pale blue on the rust and lighter in on the striker. A cost effective alternative to Firelight /Crystal - not the same effect as the Bullseye opaline but does change towards the blue tones....
