One of the things we found when starting out in the glass business was simply not knowing where to go or who to trust.  We discovered that cheapest wasnt always best and that a good looking website was not necessarily indicative of good products or good service.  

We're happy to recommend the following suppliers and products.  We have no involvement in any of these business nor do we receive any commissions from them.

Packaging

As a mail order business we know how important it is to have appropriate packaging - we have remarkably little breakage in transit because our packaging is specifically designed for the products we send.  All of our packaging is sourced from Premium Packaging in Campbelltown.  They can service both your general and specialised packaging requirements.  In particular, they have a short run custom carton service - if you only need 20 you don't need to buy 500.  Mention us to Geoff and at least he will know where the referral came from.

Wholesale Jewellery Supplies

We sell many jewellery making supplies on our website but if you are looking for a broader range or wholesale quantities please visit our friends at Transglobal Trading.  Mention us to Shane and Wendy - they know jewellery and findings inside out and can help you with your specific needs.  Wholesale only so you will need to have an ABN and be prepared to buy in bulk.

Glass Glue

Gluing to glass is alway difficult.  Single component products simply don't work and many of the 2 part epoxies are simply too strong and brittle.  After much experimentation, we have concluded that Loctite Speedbonder 324 (couple with Activator 7075) represents the optimal method of attaching both findings to jewellery and mounts to larger architectural pieces.  It is a gap filling adhesive and flexible.  We buy it from Blackwoods Industrial Supplies.  Don't bother mentioining our name because they wouldn't have a clue who we were.

Graphic Design

We won't try to tell you why graphic design is important but when we need some design work we use Side Plot Creative.   A small business like us, they can offer quick, cost effective and high quality design services.  Tell Jordan we sent you and at least he will know who to blame.
