We are now using this oil-based sculpting clay in our studio in our open-faced castings and are very happy with the results.

The clay is extremely easy to use and is easily softened with heat. It melts at 57 degrees Celsius (135 degrees Fahrenheit), and its optimal temperature for melting and pouring is about 65 degrees Celsius (150 degrees Fahrenheit).

It is very easy to sculpt and captures detail extremely well.

The clay has a very fine consistency and great plasticity. This means you can create unusual or difficult to achieve forms when the clay is warm.

Best of all, it can be re-used again and again ... and again! The clay is designed to retain its original composition indefinitely and will not become brittle or dry out.  It is extremely "low tack", which means it doesn't stick to your fingers or work surface.

It is also easy to remove from open-faced castings, as it can be readily pulled away from the wall of the casting. It can be easily melted and poured into any type of flexible mould material (such as silicone or alginate) without the need for a mould release.

The clay is also made with non-toxic food grade components and is sulphur free.

YOU SHOULD NEVER EXCEED 107 DEGREES CELSIUS (225 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT) WHILST THE COMFORTABLE HANDLING TEMPERATURE SHOULD NOT EXCEED 46 DEGREES CELSIUS (115 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT).
